alright you asked for them, not really. but here are some more pictures! these are just a few pictures of the open house we had on president's day a while back.

sandra and bridget helping at the registration desk

ryan and nate looking snazzy (they are actually on the hunt, waiting to talk to some prospective students)

did I mention that there is food at these gigs? its more than enough reason to come

this is only 1/2 of the people that came to open house. here they are listening to a student panel. if you come you can ask questions yourselves and hear what iit kids have to say!

free at last

yeah, so I'm back home and its pretty nice here.

I had to take care of some court issues back here. no, i'm not in trouble for anything, i had to do some stuff for my car. But it was so nice outside that I literally just stood on the sidewalk for a good 20 minutes before I went in. I'm not sure how the weather is now in chicago, but I heard from a friend that tomorrow they are supposed to get 4-9 inches of snow. wow. i thought winter was over in chicago. Before i left, the weather was just starting to let up. there was a bit of ice still left on the ground from the previous week, but the temp was like in the 40's.

When i got back home, my mom said that i would need a light jacket. Turns out i didn't. haha. I see people in jackets and hats in their cars and i'm in jeans and a t shirt.

Im trying to play as much golf as possible too. I've already played several rounds of golf and i still got it. I'm thinking about bringing my clubs back too since it will get a lot better in chicago. I also plan on staying on campus this summer to do research, so i'll have lots of time to do that. I might also be working in the admissions office too, but i'm not sure, we'll see.

but break isn't break until you got a ton of work to do, and i got lots of it. I have to write up a microbiology test for an exam on monday. it's not bad, its just time consuming. my tests aren't tricky, they are all based on info from the lectures and the book. which is like most classes at iit. no teacher wants to see anyone fail. my organic chem teacher did say however, that if somebody gets 100% on an exam, then he failed. hahaha.

8 hours of sleep in the past week

alright, so maybe i'm exaggerating a little bit, but i haven't gotten my 12 hours of beauty sleep for the past few nights. you can thank midterms for that. The problem is I only had two midterms. Two weeks ago I had my analytical chemistry midterm, which we got back today :(

Today, I also had my huge cell biology midterm worth 47.5 percent of the grade. The final in this class is worth 47.5 percent as well, and the remaining 5 percent is a paper I just turned in today as well. But I thought that i'd have a lot of free time to study for this exam. But because I had an analytical chem quiz monday, two organic quizzes on tuesday, and two lab reports due on tuesday as well, it just goes to show you that you shouldn't procrastinate, even if you think you got time.

but other than that, things have been getting kinda slow. Since my last post...last month, not many new and exciting things have been going in my life. A couple things here and there were pretty fun and exciting, like CAMRAS weekend. Camras weekend is a weekend where IIT invites some of the best and the brightest undergraduate applicants to interview for a chance at a handful of full tuition scholarships. In addition to that, we were interviewing for the Crown scholarship, which is a full tuition scholarship for architecture students.

I did have a party a couple of weeks ago with some friends. I do have some pictures of that, which i will post later.

But spring break is coming! It starts next week. I will be flying home back to sunny california to play some golf and relax. but not really. I have a few quizzes and assignments due on monday, so it won't be as great as it sounds.
